He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing, and hunting.ĭuane is survived by his mother, Roxanne Claassen of Detroit Lakes father, Duane Baumgart Sr. In the early 2000s Duane moved to Waubun and worked at the Casino, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and the yearly WE FEST, finally meeting the love of his life, Elley Mae Koeffs.ĭuane has loved music since an early age was a gifted electric guitar player. Later meeting Tasha Amerhiem, they moved to Wissato, Wis., and in 1996 had a daughter, Justice Rose. J., he worked as a machinist at the Stone Container company for many years. From 1986 until 1989, he worked as a painter in the shipyards, then returning to Wisconsin where he was united in marriage to Sharla Olson in 1993. As a young man, Duane moved with his family to Spanaway, Wash., to help care for his ailing grandmother. by mkkĭuane Todd Baumgart Jr., age 41, of Waubun, passed away June 23 at Sanford Health System in Fargo.ĭuane was born in Milwaukee to Roxanne (Dentici) Claassen and Duane Baumgart Sr.ĭuane was proudly given the Indian name "Niisho-Mukwag-Inini" (Two Bears).Īt the age of two he moved to California until 1976, then returning to Milwaukee and going to school in Greenfield, Wis. Davis, Lexington Albert Glenn Davis, Bend Mrs. Davis, Lexington, and the following brothers and sisters: Clarke F. Barton, Jr., and a grandson, Phillip Barton Fauteck of Mahnomen her mother Mrs. Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Shirley Fauteck of Mahnomen, Minn. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Eastern Star. She attended public school there and graduated from the Lexington high school, later attending Pacific university where she studied music. Memorial services were held in that city December 20 with interment in Olivewood cemetery. Barton passed away December 17 at Riverside Cal., following a lingering illness. She was a sister of the late Roger Aitkin. ![]() Belle Aitkin, (Pay-goonce), an old resident of the reservation, living near Beaulieu died the fore part of last week and was buried in the Beaulieu Catholic cemetery.
